Fashion Week Fall 2011 Opened yesterday offering glimpses of Fashion, Trends and looks for Fall.
A preview of the Shows all show Six Trends to Look Out for:
1. Minimal:
Les is more as they say.....and what I saw was minimal lines for Spring and will continue till Fall .....very simple clean looks.......
2. Girl Boy Looks
The Boyfriend jeans and Boyfriend Shirt were big hits for several seasons......it continues with a different twist by adding Masculine pieces with a feminine edge......try the new Boyfriend dress for size........slouchy slacks.....with a lacy top.....
3. Sizzle with Snakes
Snake skins are back...love the new Snakeskin Trenches by Marchesa....and snakeskin prints...........pair them up with jeans or slacks...dress it up or down.......you can never fail with this staple piece.
4. Lace it up:
Lace continues to be key in pieces like blouses and dresses...........Rebecca Taylor and Marchesa are huge on lace and are key components to their line for Fall 2011.
5. "That Girl"
Yes, the Seventies are back and Mod is a Must have for Spring & Fall 2011. Think Charlies Angels and Mod Squad......They must've watched the episodes to get inspiration.....
6. Brilliance;
Metallic, Antique Copper, Silver, Raspberry, Aqua.....gives new life to clothes......
but don't worry ladies we still can wear neutral tones like toffee black and gray.....
